FYI it was Steve (intheozone) who lent his P38 to outback accessories for the Xrox bar.
Thanks Keith. Yeh I realised that but he said he was going to contact them and never reported back.
Outback Accessories were pretty vague, and said there was no P38's booked in so there was no immediate hope....
So am slowly giving up hope on Outback Accessories unless someone from WA gives them a donor car shortly... And then even that might mean a a long time until production.
Was also hoping for the rock sliders but they are even further down the track I believe.
Was hoping for a rear to match my front bar but the hopes are dwindling. The front bar was well made and a good price...
Yeah I would like Outback Accessories to make one too. Sadly I think my mate will end up doing it!
Hmmm this looks promising... From an ebay seller from Oz.
Have left a message and hope to speak with him soon.

There's always the Bearmach rear bar.
I've not seen one in the flesh & the pictures available on the 'net aren't too good but Karcraft are the local distributors here & can supply them with an order.

Thanks for posting that Scott.
I've always just ignored the limited overseas protection mostly because I expected the shipping to be loads... But that bar is supposedly only 41 pounds to ship from the UK... If it's right.
But yeh, without better photos and multiple angles I'd be reluctant to spend 680 dollars (640 odd if they remove the VAT).
Will still keep that in mind. Also puts a perspective on prices of a rear bar with no carriers.
Peter
Hey Steve.
Have you spoken to Rampt yet? I've tried a number of times but can't get a hold of him. He did try calling back mind you and explained in a voicemail why it is hard to get a hold of him so I'll keep trying. He also said there would be no problem making a rear bar or sill protectors/rock sliders. The guy is looking promising apart from being very hard to get a hold of at the moment.
His prices seem quite reasonable, his designs look quite good. The only thing that I can see as a negative for me is that he is about 3 hours drive for me each way. Not a huge problem if it's a one day service but as he hasn't done a P38 before he will obviously need time to look under it and feel it won't be a drop off and pick up the same day until he has done at least one P38.
So basically I am still going to see if we can arrange a way to minimise my driving back and forwards, leaving the car there, or having to have more than a single over nighter.... Hint hint, hopefully he can measure both the sliders and rear bar off yours if you are still interested in going to him
Peter.
Hi Peter
I still intend to contact him and get the bar and sliders
Currently I am flat out like a lizard drinking preparing for my annual company meeting in San Francisco.
Once I get back around mid Feb, I will be chasing that guy for sure!
Regards
Steve
