    Speed limit 20

Everytime I set off I get this warning on the dash.
Stays there untill I switch The Bitch off at the end of the drive.
Doesn't alter anything about it's performance, I ignore it and go on my merry way.
Been happening for about a week and it doesn't come on untill I have moved off some distance.
Anyone know why or what ?

    Ta.

    Hi

It appears that you can cycle through preset speed limit warnings by pressing the "top" button on the indicator stick (hit it enough times and it should change from 20-60-etc-OFF)

Oh and hi all, i'd hoped my first post would be along the lines of "I bought a Jeep (OOPS Perentie)" but if this helps then i'm glad.

I don't think it cycles around to off.
Hit the button twice & it should go off right away (first press will display the limit speed, 2nd press should go to 'off').

I've only ever seen that warning when there has been a EAS fault but that message comes up first.
I have a bypass switch on the EAS timer, if I kill power to and 'freeze' the EAS the speed warning will come on and stay on.

Does RAVE have a section on dashboard messages and their causes?

The EAS speed warning is a different beast - one that you don't want to see too often.

    Okay thanks all.
I will check stalk thingy, Rave and book.
I asked here first because logging on was the first thing I did when I returned from shopping. Always is.
I wonder why it comes up and what it means.

It's the Speed Alert. You can set it at various speeds & it beeps when you hit that speed.

I didn't know that. Well well.
I just use the cruise control in all speed zones.
That way I can tap me feet to the tune of the 5.0 lt v8.
