Remy, a suggestion. Before fitting the Kaymar rear bar, get another stub axle welded to the RHS. You'll see the chequer-plate is cut to allow one. Then if you want to add a swingaway jerrycan holder, you have the pivot axle in place.

    G'day guys,

Sorry, I haven't been paying attention - its a very busy time for me.

My low profile HRA bullbar does not use crush cans - I took them off when I mounted the bullbar. It just has two heavy aluminium plates which bolt straight up to the chassis. But because they are fairly long, I think they may well act as crush cans in an accident, by deforming before the chassis does.

The bullbar is strong enough to mount a winch. The previous owner of this bullbar had a winch mounted, tho I don't know if he ever used it. The structure of the bullbar is certainly strong enough for it.

    Willem
