But it's got no pedals
Didn't even know this section existed, now that I know its here and I notice a lot of familiar aliases I figure I may as well pimp my ride.
Yep... I have a bike again... well almost! After my last bike was stolen just shy of a year ago from a secured basement car park in early 2011, I have finally decided that enough is enough and a replacement has been ordered.
My main reason for this is to hopefully notify people of my willingness to destroy my body via a human powered device. I hope to get motivated to use this more often.
Maybe some of my fello club members can persuade me to bring it along on club trips to enjoy a ride somewhere!
Who knows, where it will begin, or end. All I know is it will be on my new Jamis.
Pick it up on Tuesday next week, will be riding it home from the store (Anaconda)

But it's got no pedals
I bought my Jamis Eureka in 2002 and its done about 29,000km. Sadly the seat post clamp area has broken off the frame, it's still rideable with a longer seat post but one day I'll have to get a replacement. 100kg of weight on an ally frame has taken it's toll. It's been many places I wouldn't walk or drive. Hope you enjoy yours!
Camping out with the Bob trailer, Mt Pleasant, SA.
Go hard Grimace!Get out there and smash those trails at Nerang.

1993 BMW R100LT
2024 Triumph Bonneville T120 Black
Throw them away the platforms and get yourself a nice set of time ATAC clip ins pedals and a pair of cycling shoes and you will wonder how you ever rode a bike without them, especially on a nice Jamis hard tail like that.
My first dually was a Jamis Dakar, loved that bike until I broke the rear triangle.
Enjoy, it is addictive.
