    I should clarify the roller fix method was for the rear window which has a single arm lifter. It's still working OK after a year or more now.
    Seems the front window mechanism is a more complex scissor arrangement and therefore less tolerant.

    Reliable Nylon Slider repair to Front Window

    I have repaired the failed roller in my 2003 TD5. The repair has now worked reliably for 2 months. It does not require the removal of any window mechanism. I bought a nylon breadboard from a hardware store fo $8 as the raw materials plus a small nut and bolt. The hardest part was grinding off the old roller pin. All up the repair took about 2 hrs incuding washing the door panel

    M.R . Automotive at Redcliffe charge $22 AUD for these rollers made of brass, plus postage I imagine.
