Well that was a pleasure, So the truck driver rings me up last night at 2130, I'll be at fowles tomorrow with your chassis! you need to pick it up, **** me, had to knock off work early, steal the companys trailer, convince the manager at fowles to load me, pay $50, nice dealings when you get told it will be at a depot, pick it up when you can.....

Anyhow, I have it, just to get it on the roof for the trip home, tomorrow, which we'll have a 200T crane at work, but probably be way to late by the time we finish with it, worst case, I'll take the trailer home and have to make the 7 hour return trip

So, it needs, engine mounts removed, Isuzu ones welded on, fuel tank mounts from other chassis welded on, to suit early tank, cleaning, lots off, aux fuel tank mounts, then whether to add some fishplates, then blast, then gal, hmmm, project time frame is growing

From memory gal (dipped) on a RRC chassis adds about 70kg. A 130 will be a 'touch' more. Info was on Pirate and LR 4x4.

Just leave the Irish wolfhounds at home.

    cheers, DL

He's going to fit the wheels back on the 130 chassis, make a sharp turn then drive it home on its roof after fitting an inverted oiling system
