This is a great build up. I plan on doing the same thing, although starting with a HDJ79R, putting a 100 Series rear axle under it and then airbagging the thing all round.

79 would be good, I does like them

Track width would be something to think off, as Tojo varied track with wagons/utility, Better of just using whats there and 4 link with bags...........the idea may or may (notice lack of not!) of crossed my mind alot of times

Speaking of track widths, have you heard of any ways of getting around the track width issue on the new utes and wagons?

I was checking out a 79GXL wagon which obviously had spacers and it looked great. Suppose no more illegal than HIDs, Big arse lifts, tyres etc.

A mate of mine...lives next door actually, has a new trayback, travelled about 15k now, has 315's, lift, diff locks, to much money, and finds no issues whatsoever, uses around 12L/100 aswell, he couldn't be happier

Well done on the mutt I do the same, cant stand the thought of someones dog getting run over
That will be strong enough How high are you going to mount it with 35's and longer travel etc.
Maybe put small wells over the tyres so you can keep the C of G lower.
Would help with high speed cornering and side slopes a lot!
