    well with the brakes out of the way it is time to dress her up a bit

    dash before restoration and the door trims as well


    in process of restoring




    and fully restored





    next will be the door trims and seats that chequer-plate will be zara's sills to protect the doors

    we filled it with expandable foam and shaved it back and repeated then covered in vinyl

    Great thread Carolyn - good to see you're getting your hands dirty too - I just learnt the art of packing bearings myself. Grease went just about everywhere - and finally into the bearing.

    Looking forward to seeing the finished product.

    (not only cos then Matilda can get on the hoist!)

    Errol only seems to like the skinny little lasses. With the heavy set ladies he has a tendency to fail to "Rise to the occasion"

    But like good old Mr Flynn, there are girls And boys qued up down the driveway just waiting to get on top

    Brakes have all been bled this morning with Zulu Delta 534's help of course

    Since we put a hole in the fuel tank another was sourced from the parts rack a nice shiney stainless steeel one




    ho har sprayed sound deadener underneath







    The seats will be ordered soon from the U.K.....our upholsterer could not go anywhere near the price we can buy and get them delivered to our door


    Scallops best get Matilda ready for the run over to meet Errol
