you are 3/4 of the way to writing a thesis on landies, maybe a first in Australia. Certainly for Singleton and the promised land!

It will be worth it in the end! Theres not many people your age that have the get up and go to play around with old landrovers!
Beats playing with those cars that sound like they are Farting out of a tin can and playing oot's oot's music doesn't it?

i will only run it for maybe an hour
there wont be any panels on the front
    the firewall will be on
the exhaust doesnt matter i can cut it if i have to
fuel isnt a big problem atm because i can just put some in the carby if i have to
air cleaner wont be an issue as i said this is only for a short time
i dont know if there will really be any wiring
    Tony,
I cant understand where you are really coming from?
You have spent many months repairing and restoring your Series one, rebuilt the gearbox and did an amazing job on the diffs in addition to painting the chassis, (new cross members etc) and it looks a wonderful job..

And NOW all this make do rush, for the school project?

Surly you would have adequately demonstrated you ability to persevere at a project and succeed in arriving at a goal?
I think that if you presented the rolling chassis and bulkhead and even pictures of the engine it would suffice for top marks.
You could then finish at your own pace and complete the restoration to you standards of perfection and not a last minute cock-up?
    Just my thoughts mate!
