Hi Numpty, The only reason was that he has a built in air pump bolted to the passenger floor, & it is a "Thomas" brand. I bet the red wheels look good on your Thomas. Mine I believe is or was RAF Blue, it's kind of faded & battered now & will stay that way, as scraping down tracks like the Holland track has left its mark on Lionel, wont notice on Thomas.

Garry, out in Yass. Was on Gumtree. saw the ad yesterday and slept on it. Went as far as posting it on the 'ebay online finds' thread so I could stay away as I have no space for it..

My aunt told me last night I could keep it at her warehouse in sydney where they store their race cars anyway so was an easy choice really. Rang up this morning, inspected, paid and now just took delivery of it. I am gonna need some help with it as I was never a massive S1 fan. If you have time you're more than welcome to have a look! wont be towing it to sydney till next weekend perhaps.

Hi , Iam not very good at this computer thing, how ever I finaly got my picture on, the landy on the trailer looks in really good nick for it age, does it have original motor?
My landy is a 1957 88in, was used in an Australian movie called SEPTEMBER, was a sandy colour with bars on the back, has original motor untouched, no smoke but low on compression
