Also the home of the Landrover on a pole see pic a waste of a 80 inch of you ask me perhaps they could be persuaded to replace it with a fibre glass relics.ImageUploadedByTapatalk1347281115.568435.jpg

The 90 defender is doing a top job as a prime mover I am very impressed with the power on hills it just keeps pulling. Should be back on Perth tomorow night . ImageUploadedByTapatalk1347281460.071403.jpg see if you can find the 3 landrovers on this picture.

I reckon a few Perthy series 1 people need to get together over a steak and an ale and meet face to face yes even Cliffy scary as it may sound. I looking forward to some serious series 1 fun.
Mike
Yeah I'm up for that, even if we all have to get there in non-series 1's (130 for me~!)![]()
Arrived back in Perth yesterday evening unloaded and trailer returned. Absolutely exhausted after driving from Ceduna almost non stop. Had a power nap for 2 hrs.I havent had a chance to real god look yet but these is some rust in the bulkhead that will need to be repaired nothing major. The brake matercylinder is seized. The water pump needs replacing and the carby cleaned. It runs but wont rev. Should be able to get it driveable in a week or two. I found an owners and workshop manual under the seat plus some spares. At Ceduna we ran into another member From this site Bob on his way to pick up some series 1 fire pump bits. I have some leads on where I can get hold of a sft top frame and possibly a capstan winch.

Well done on making it back to the good side of the country. It looks even better now it's in WA.
I see you have an early 80" badge on the rear cat flap. Hang onto that!
How bad is the bulkhead rust? I know of a rust free 88" out in menzies that would be good for parts.
it would be a fair effort for someone to steal it. i saw a s1 on a pole near toowoomba but i think it was a later s1.looking forward to seeing some more photos and more info.
