Yes its all there a new firewall bulkhead. Are they all the same or do 107 differ from 80,s 86's etc? There is one in Coffs harbour available from an 80 blasted and undercoated ready to go.

    The bulkheads are different Mike.

80" will only fit 80". 86" & 107" are the same, 88" & 109" are the same. There is a lot of info on the lrsoc.com forum Mike, you should have a look on there.

I believe that the bulkhead from 88"/109" will fit a 86"/107" vehicle and vice versa. There are some differences in them but no one in Perth will know

I found a completely rust free 88" out at Menzies a few months back, if someone needs a great 88" chassis I may go back and drag it home!

    Thanks andy

Well the next step is to get her home i go on RNR in a couple of weeks so might do a quick trip across and pick her up. Hope to fit the long range tanks in the 90 that week as well so will be busy.In the mean time if any one has a 86 /107 bulkhead let me know. I am sure the cahssis will need some work as well. I used to work for TJM years ago programing cnc stuff and it would be interesting to map the chassis rail coordinates so they could be laser cut . I am told they are a 4 piece with weld in each corner so would be easy to cut with a laser ending with a very nice neat repair or even a brand new chassis .

Went on a Series one trip this weekend. Quite a few good vehicles tucked away in the south west. Nice 86" for sale, a 1950 80" in very good original condition (not for sale) a few more 86" a few 107".

Also went to look over a 1949 80", the vehicle is too far gone for restoration. If anything it Would be a good donor vehicle as it already has had a replacement 2 litre, later gearbox, late front axle without long nose diff, manually adjustable brakes, alloy wheel cylinders etc etc. I have asked the owner if he wants to sell parts of it as it may help a few vehicles back on the road. Does anyone need anything?

John B needs 49 bits. I will need 107 parts as mentioned earlier. See there is a daily driver 1957 series 1 for sale in Carnarvon in todays paper.

Sorry I missed you at the weekend, seems work always gets in the road of fun. Good to see you didnt find all the 80''ers though.
Bit of a shame things werent as expected down the swamp, you have just destroyed a local legend, but maybe the locals should have known better!

    Cheers Steve

    Hi Steve,

Yes there are some goodies down your way. There are a few more 1950 80" I know of in Mt Barker too but I didn't get to catch that bloke either! Hopefully be coming back down to Denmark soon to pick up some parts from the 49 wreck.

The little 80" at the swamp looked good though from what I could see. It is a shame that it's not a 48 but this is the reality 99% of the time. It's the 1% that keeps us looking though!

    How's Klonk coming along?

    Andy.
