    A bit far away

    Hi Russel,

Cedar grove out back of Samford in Qld is a bit far from Perth. I used to live just up the hill from here at Nt Nebo and have probably sat in this very vehicle if it is the one at the falls at the end of Cedar Creek road. There is an old Matilda tank there as well or was back in the 70's.
The distance i will travel is directly related to the condition of the vehicle for example i would have gone to Cairns for Tezza's 90 but the price he wanted was a bit much when I added travel etc. The one in Coffs Harbour is just a bit far for the condition , The 107 I found has disapeard the owner no longer talking must have got a better offer he didnt send the pics he promised . The bunbury 109 is probably the best thing going at the moment . Never mind I will sit back and wait have a few people keeping an eye out. Im spending a small fortune on the new 90 at the moment getting it ready for a big trip.

The Cedar Creek I know well is at Samford on the other side of Brisvegas , I also know the one down Beaudesert way . Cedars where once plentiful all over SE Qld and Northern NSW. My Grandad had a mill at Northarm in the 1920's and my family where cedars cutters in Moerton Bay from 1840 onwards after they arrived on the Shackamaxon from Scotland.I wish they had kept the land they owned up Maleny way.
