Mike,
What about the 109" series one on carsales? It is down south of Perth.
Or have you set your heart on an 80" now?
I'm still looking, if anything suitable comes up you'll be the first to know. I haven't had any luck with that 51 yet, old mate hasn't been home.
48 turned out to be a 50.
Just a pile of pannels.
Maybe someone would buy it for a carton then? Surely there some uneducated bogan would be interested in it...![]()
Mike,
I think you need to decide 2 things:
1) Do you have the skills / money / knowledge and patience to get a bunky and restore it or should you go for one that has had the hard yards done.
2) After decicion 1 decide on your budget and stick to it. One will present itself. Of course the waiting period is inversly proportional to the budget!
I waited 20 years for my LRPV but I got one in the end and it's a ball tearer! Within my budget too!!!
If someone is interested in the pile of 1950 panels, I can try to get them for a carton of p!ss or a AC/DC poster I have on my dunny door.
John B has a 50 missing some panels . Im sure he would be interested I will let him know.I am looking at a 107/109 chasis number 277600604 tis a bit rusty but all there.
Mike
Ah!
All this 80" talk has got me juices flowing.
Gota get me one! And a series III.....
You just hang back a bit there Cliffy and wait till I get mine then you can pick through the leftovers of the leftovers. These things are getting more difficult to find than Spitfires in Qld Coal mines .
