    RDO

Not sure when the RDO is but it would be a safe bet I get rained off at least one day while your around home. Im giving Borumbah a rest and flying over this time. Seeing you wont part with your smiths I might have to get one of these modern ones they look pretty snazzy and you can get all the vents and hose etc. A bit of grey paint and some ball bearings in a bag and I could have it looking antique pretty quick.

    Doh !

One of the original issues I need to fix on Katie, is the lack of a working wiper on the drivers side and one on the passenger side that has a sweep rate of about 1 per minute. With a heap off stuff on at the moment Ive taken the slackers option I've hunted this up off biased boats for 56 bucks and it was delivered in about two days, lets see how it goes.

The reactions I've had while spinning about town have been pretty pleasing, old boys veering across the road while checking her out, onother fella giving her a thumbs up and even one lady telling me she "its so cute" (pretty sure she was referring to Katie any way).

But she let the team down last night when the fuel pump stopped, the lights gave out and she was towed home in disgrace.............with my son in the lead, his first casualty towing experience, and hopefully that is the last time I have to suffer that. I'm sure I said to him, gently , slow, don't race up to the intersection and don't swerve at the last moment before you encounter a parked car..... surely that's what I said

Fuel issue turns out to have been crap in the pump, disconnected hoses and gave it a blow out........guessing that means the filter has been fitted to the wrong side in the system, is there an issue with running a filter either side of the pump (Facet brand) ?
Lights working again , fuses needed to be cleaned up, its a dodgy fuse set up so maybe I might giver her a new fuse box

Wipers are on. First impressions, a bit noisy but I guess the sound of the car will drown them out, work at different speeds and they are supposedly 110 degree sweep but doesn't appear to be enough.........but they work

Tonight I started fitting some eyelets in the back of the tray for a very important reason ( to me any way ). some of the less than kind people in my household have suggested this is the manual back up system for Katie

    Nice bike!

That was the first thing I did too
I cant get a bike in my tray with both wheels on so I installed a mount to drop the front fork into. Works for QR but I'm still trying to figure out how to mount a 15mm through axle.

Thanks mate, Porn star bike.....anthem x advanced. Just got a new frame under warranty so it came as the next model up, including the shock so pretty happy. Lovely ride. Go to chain reaction or wiggle and search for " fork up" its an adapter. I use that when i am using my normal car

    Ktm hauler

I got Borumbahs purchase approved my the ministry of finance by telling her it is to carry the KTM and rubbish to the dump. I need to fit tie down lugs as well , did you put a plate behind to reinforce the alloy.
Ps I am just up the road at Torqueya very nice little place , looks like rain coming for the weekend so I might get down to Colac fingers crossed.

Hah Mike, that's the sort of sales pitch I like, I am lucky in the fact that I have a steel tray so could just drill through the RHS that makes the frame. I guess if you put in some nice heavy plate it should work in the Ally tub.
Saturday through to Monday lunch time I'm pretty tied up with a course but lets see how we go, I had another fella drop in the other day whos doing up a 50/80 and cast an eye over the cars, it was really good to chat to another S1 buff
