Woo Hoo - I now have a clutch in the ol ute. All I need now is brakes and I can move her under her own power (even stop her when needed).

So what next you ask - into the home brew

I am over the moon now.... The bloke that I bought the olute from has rang and is sending me the diary that his mate had kept of the car since new; detailing his money spent and repairs / work done as required since its purchase in 1955. Considering that the bloke owned it until he passed in 2001, this diary will be something special.

The car was left in a will to the fella I bought it off as he was a very good mate of the original owner. Travelling in it on many hunting / fishing trips in Vic / NSW.

I decided to give her a polish this arvo and the photos is how it looks (well the bits I got to). Very happy and, now that I have seen this, there is no way the colour is changing

Oh yes - and if anyone has a spare indicator unit to go onto the steering column, I need one...
