It is a fishplate chassis car, and so long as it has not had the fishplates added it can only be a 1948, 1949 or 1950 model.
- To have the ring pull it should be no later than 1950 model #3884
- Don't worry about the wide springs they only happened at 1950 model #13530.
Your Car ID plate should be in the engine bay on the LHS of the firewall.
The chassis number is stamped on the flat top of the LHS engine mount, and can be read from leaning over the mudguard.
- 1948 models are 860001 through 863000
- 1949 models are 8663001 through 8667920
- 1950 models are 06100001 through way past your vehicle.
N.B. lots of the fishplate chassis 1950 models were actually built in 1949.
Hope this helps.

Tony it can get confusing at times.
One of the problems is that the parts can be so easily swapped and lots of owners wanted the headlights that you could see at night with, so they swapped them for the later grill.
- The ring pull was replaced with a yellow button in mid 1950 at vehicle 06103885 - still a freewheel unit though.
- the headlights (and grill panel) changed from the Butler 5" to the Lucas 7" at 1950 vehicle 06111547
- The narrow front springs with the shackles to the front changed to the wide springs with shackles at the rear in late 1950 vehicle 06113530
The Grenville Motors books even list a vehicle well past the change to 7" headlights as having the lights behind the grill panel.
