Fair enough! I know the feeling! 
I seem to remember noting that you had a Tex-Magnalite type blinker switch. This being the case, there is an integral light on the body that should flash when you activate the indicators. 
The choke warning light I am told should come on once the engine is up to temp, to remind you to push the choke back in. I am not 100% sure though because Ambrose' choke light comes on when the choke is out regardless of engine temp!
