    Thumbs up that shed inside

    Hi there,
the landie looks fantastic, but what caught my eye was in the shed!
    A 4 post vehicle hoist.
Now that must have been a real help in doing the restoration.
wish I had one, they cost about $3500 and with some, you can even store a vehicle overhead and work on the one on the ground!
Is that enamel that you sprayed it with or a 2 PAC mix?

The HarMeister's hoist - and shed, is simply above and beyond - and it was invaluable to get stuff done on the vehicle.

We used the original paint code (Deep Bronze Green), in enamel.

Hope we can compare notes sometime, mildred.

Harry sprayed a noise deadener black concoction - looks good, and if it kills excess racket, all the better!

When I drove my series one on club plates, it was so noisy that I had to wear ear muffs and I also wore my bicycle helmet.
I used to get strange looks when stopped in traffic or the lights.

Because it had no seat belts, my helmet was my only insurance if I was hit up the rear, and the ear muffs made the noise level ...just tolerable
