    Horn question

    Hi every one,

    i have a quick question, Is the snail type horn on a series 2 repairable and if so who would do that kind of thing?

    First try the adjusting screw on the back (depends on which model you have whether there are 1 or 2 adjusters.
    Then you could take it apart and clean the points.

    I don't think it would be commercially viable to repair the horn. If the windings are burnt out it's probably a throwaway anyway.

    I thought my horn was cactus, but it turned out to be the ring bezel contact in the steering wheel needed a fettle.
    Works too well now, I keep hitting it with my elbow when I'm reversing.
