    109 body tubs did change around the wheel arch in about 1973-74. The rear sill dress panels after that are about 2.5 inches shorter. Front sill panels are still the same as the late 2a to Series 3 units.

    I found all that out the hard way.

    Yes, looking more closely at the parts book, the rear body part number for 109s changes after Series 3 vehicle suffix 'B'. Up to suffix 'B' it is the same as 2/2a.
