Had a goodish day yesterday.
Decided to take the 2nd engine to bits, all looking good except we can't get the big nut off the hand starter or the fan off, any pointers?
The engine looks in good nick, reckon it'll just need a hone and new rings, not checked the bearings yet but looking promising!
Bit of an update as I've not done one for a while, slacker eh!
The 2nd engine is nearly stripped just one big bolt that is behind the cranking thingy! There is still cross hatching on the bores so everything looks promising!
The chassis has been shot blasted and zinc primed, I've also dropped it off at the Ho-Hars and had a look at the bulk head, great work and very impressed! I found out that the rear cross member is not original so I have opted to get this replaced with either a new one or a good used one, I've left that up to Mr Ho-Har to decide which would be the better option!
Hopefully there will be some pictures posted in the next few days.
You asked for pictures.....The firewall being repaired.

I agree.Looks like it's been overhauled recently. If that was mine I'd be rapt. Fill it with oil and Bob's your uncle,I reckon.
