    Introducing Matilda

    I've done it again.

This one is for The Girl Child....really it is

    More details to follow.

Too exhausted after a 13hr day to get her.

Loos very clean under the hood and seems to run well. I see it's had the Stromberg carby transplant too!

Yeah. I'll see how it runs but I'd not hesitate putting a Zenith on.

The Zenith really performs well on DaOot.

Can anyone shed some light on this engine number please?

236xxxxx was used in lightweights I believe, but this seems to have an eight in front of it.

A search on REMLR reveals nothing.

The Girl Child has spoken & the previously unnamed Landy has been named "Matilda"

She's a 67/68 Series 2a with a PTO, no roof, a broken windscreen & a little bit of rust, oh no decent seats either

We got her from a property about 75 km west of Dalby but she has been in Brisbane during her lifetime.

Although the rear crossmember & front bumper are not original the rest of the chassis appears to be tops.

There doesn't appear to be too many if any leaks but I've not checked if there's any oil in the leaky bits either yet. :P

The wiring appears OK but the headlight wires have been cut.

A Traxide Upgrade kit will go inplace.

    There are also NO BRAKES

So I've got all that to look forward to again

    Anyway here's some photos

I reckon you should call it "carraige" as all Canon are carried on a carraige.

    Looks great
