				Hello,
Unfortunately I have neglected my 67' 2a 6cyl for a while now, and I went to start it up yesterday with no luck.
I turn the key and all I can hear is the loud click
The battery spent the day charging, I put it back in the car and the same occurs.
I recently put in a brand new starter motor, so I am confident it is not that.
Does anyone have any suggestions for trouble shooting?
Thanks

Sounds like the starter motor, the starter motor solenoid or a bad earth somewhere but if it's been neglected could the motor have seized ?
The loud click is either the solenoid or maybe the starter trying to engage.
Turn the motor over (with the starting handle or a spanner on the nut on the crankshaft pulley) with the ignition off. Hopefully the motor turns freely
Then try again.
Just because it's new doesn't mean the starter will work OK.
What were the symptoms that made you change the starter ?
