I believe 06103165 belongs to a 1950 80" Series 1 and had a freewheel unit.

Does anyone have a decent photo of the top edge of the rear tube?
I suspect mine has a few custom holes in it, which I dont mind but I would like to have rivets in all the ones that should have rivets. Here is a sample of mine.
More progress.
Christmas has arrived!

Probably going to get a set of deestone d503 7.50s for the car, just waiting for a price from my brother who works for a local tyre mob.
This may be a silly question, but when it comes to repairing or painting the chassis, where does one stand legally for making sure the chassis number is still the original stamping and easily readable.
The bumper came from roverspares for 220 dollars. Most of the gear came from the UK due to the prices being so much cheaper, even with shipping involved. But with those larger items, I stayed local in case for some reason I had to send them back.
Everything but the bumper and rear cross member came from UK. Freight wasn't too bad when you consider the prices of the parts. For example, the springs and shocks cost just under $1000 to my door from Paddocks, for the same gear in Australia it was $2000 before shipping.
Cleaned and painted the rear axle. Fitted new springs and tested fitted it plus shocks. How happy I was once both chassis bushes had been removed and new ones fitted until I remember there were still fronts to do....
