Wiring tested from ignition switch etc
toggle switch to switch gauge from port or starboard tank, red light ignition/charge light empty hole to have a cigarette lighter socket. Will mount an oil pressure and temperature gauge on a seperate panel. switch top right panel lights

I doubt whether that aspect entered the designer's head back then.[smilebigeye] Houses were not locked & to have a 2nd or even a 3rd vehicle then was in the future somewhat. The Chicken Coop had a hook latch on it.

Without looking back, I seem to remember both of these were discussed earlier. The orientation of the light switch was not.
I've got what appears to be a genuine instrument panel with a hole for a combined temperature/oil pressure gauge, you could have. On the right hand side there is unfortunately an enlarged or an extra home made hole.

As far as I know, that combined gauge was only fitted there by Rover Australia for military Landrovers. Civilian ones used a subpanel, usually just to the right of the instrument panel, but this subpanel was used on the military ones for the blackout switch.
Thanks for the offer of the instrument panel, I have some unmolested ones hanging in my shed, but the positioning of the gauge on yours is interesting, I’d have to turn my ignition switch around.Quote:
