The LT95 transfer was available with a range of high range ratios, including a just over 1:1 as used in the Isuzu 110's and Stage 1 Series III

I fitted an LT95 into my Series2A , Had to chop out cross members as mentioned & add in another one, can be seen in photo,.

Had a P76 4.4 though which bolts right up , cant imagine anyone would mess around putting Holden 6 in front of one.
FJ55 3.7 axles too. Cant remember if the front had CV's or UJ but was never a problem.

If it had FJ55 axles, it had CVs.

    Hello Going Bush,

Well that is one way to show people how the chassis of your Series Land Rover was modified!

It would be interesting to hear about the story attached to the incident. Also, whether the Series was just put back onto its four wheels and managed to be driven away.

    Kind regards
    Lionel

Whatever else it is it's cretainly a mix and match, Possibly a series 3 chassis with 11A compliance plate.

It was a case of me being an idiot, I drove the left wheels up the embankment & over she went. Woods Point . Vic

Put back on wheels with Tirfor & continued on our way , just a little dent to show for it.

Tough as a Mack truck eh? Protected by the bulldog.
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.
