After I fitted the new alternator, Ralph ran fine for a while then started to run at a discharge again. Ran through the wiring and realised that there is no light wired into the circuit to excite the regulator pack to initiate charging. Dont know how it has worked for the last 3 years though. So I used the unused light on the bottom left of the instrument panel, i think it is the indicator light, but I have the old stalk with the light on the end type, so it wasn't used. Runs sweet now. I still have a slight weep on the injector pump that needs fixing and the I can refit the front drive shaft when time permits. Question,,, is it much work to remove the front free wheeling hubs and fit drive shafts. The amount I drive Ralph (1800 miles in 3 years) I am thinking of removing the one remaining hub that works and taking it back to the way it was from factory.
