i would think all you would reely have to do is lift the engine but then again it is attached to the gearbox,i would think that there would probably be an easy way

Ive got some new engine mounts to fit, can this be done without any major disassembly or hassle? (2.25 Petrol)

Yeah just jack up the engine on the front crank pull (gently) & then change out the engine mounts..![]()

So you just undo all mounts and jack?
Its safe to jack under the pulley?
I've always jacked from the sump with a bit of wood as a buffer, never heard of jacking from the pully before.
I use a bit of timber on my big trolley jack & once its where i want it i shake the **** outa the engine to make sure it safe & wont fall that way i can lay under the engine . Sometimes if i have a bit of tubing i will put it on top of the 2 chassis rails & stick the engine on that depends on what i have to do..
