Yeah i been working on the wheel carrier for the green one today..
Done all the gas lines in the camper today as well.
Have been scrapping layers of paint off the baulkheah of harry & marked all the holes i dont need so they can be welded up started to straighten the top corner on the drivers side where i dropped the baulkhead , thats just about done..
As for the engine i'm probably going to stick with this 202 as i have already spent a fair bit on it so far..
Only need to do a few things to the engine now & machine the flywheel so i can bolt a new clutch to it..

Hey Sleepy, I have a Rover V6 that is also thirsty. It's up in V8 territory, although your V8 is probably thirstier!! Apparently the Rover V6 is well known for using fuel!!!

How's 14l/100km for a 2.5litre, V6. Even the manual says 12l/100km. Not very fuel efficient!!!

Well dropped the rods off today to be machined at the engine shop. Also ordered new rod bolts new valve springs & a gasket set so should have it all back in a couple of days they said ..so if i can get the flywheel machined for the new clutch by then i should have it all back together & in the chassis over the weekend.. Fingers crossed..

    Hey Jas,
    What a bugger.
I know your pi5sed. Just throw a tarp over it and wait a couple of weeks. You may well end up selling it, but wait until you are calm. I certainly know how you feel but just forget about it for a week (day) or so. Then make a decision.

I always remember SADDAM......nah not the iraqi dude.
    Shock
    Anger
    Deppresion/Denial
    Acceptance
    Moving on.

Its the process we go through when you geta drama in your life.

Its like when you have a car prang.

    1. Oh shid
    2. Stupid idiot should have looked out for me
    3. Oh no, this will cost heaps, and all that paperwork and....
    4. It wasn't my fault the light was only a little bit red.
    5. I guess it really was my fault for rushing
    6. It's just a bad memory now. I wont do that again.

It's very easy to get caught at 3 & 4 and go round in circles eating yourself up. You've gotta dig yourself out and keep working through the list.

Now you're probably somewhere between Anger and Deppression....

You may well end up selling it but wait a while and then make a calm decision in the cold hard light of day.

Go and get some more ink....take you're mind off it.
