    Hard luck Banjo.

Like the others say it will seem better in a few days. The thread should be repairable with an insert - have a yarn with the machining shop,

    Cheers Charlie

    Moving on.

Its the process we go through when you geta drama in your life.

Its like when you have a car prang.

    1. Oh shid
    2. Stupid idiot should have looked out for me
    3. Oh no, this will cost heaps, and all that paperwork and....
    4. It wasn't my fault the light was only a little bit red.
    5. I guess it really was my fault for rushing
    6. It's just a bad memory now. I wont do that again.
It's very easy to get caught at 3 & 4 and go round in circles eating yourself up. You've gotta dig yourself out and keep working through the list.

Now you're probably somewhere between Anger and Deppression....

You may well end up selling it but wait a while and then make a calm decision in the cold hard light of day.

Go and get some more ink....take you're mind off it.

Hey it sure did..Got this lastnight..

    I did this today

    Adapter ring on

    Flywheel on

    Clutch plate & aligning tool..

Clutch housing or pressure plate on

New thrust barring or throwout barring what every ya want to call it..

AND managed to get this done ..

    .
ITS been a long time since i put a brandnew clutch in & when i was tightening the pressure plate up i noticed all the fingers went in as i did it up..Not sure if that right cant remember but i guess its ok as the clutch plate can only go on one way..
Anyway thats where i am upto..

    Can i go home now..

Thats Terrific Banjo. I hope you stick with the project, I have enjoyed seeing the progress on this. Looks like you have the same clutch aligning tool as me!

It does look good with the motor in the Chassis!

    Nice one Banjo.
Love the orange. It's a bit like that G4 colour.

Hang in there, Banjo. The helicoil will work. Engine looks fantastic. The whole lot looks very impressive in the chassis.

I spoke with Jeff and Terry again at 4x4 - got some Disco bits from them - just waiting for the most needed bits to arrive now the bits that weren't so important have already arrived...

Keep going forward, mate. There is always a fix. Don't let the small stuff set you back (I am talking about the rebuild here but you already know it applies to the other stuff too). Your work and high standards always impress me.

Damn, it's a work of art! Almost a shame to cover it all up.

Watching (and lurking) with total interest.
