I got this from a recent request about the updated model:

We just released the new ones at the big Peterborough show in the UK last weekend and we are waiting for some feed-back from customers. We are confident in what we have produced we are just not 100% sure yet of the consistency of the OEM Land Rover parts that it mates up to. I would be happy to sell you one now or you can wait until we have more feedback????

Well, it survived the Simpson without any problems. I guess that's a fair test!
Have changed the filter once, certainly a much quicker and easier procedure than the original filter system. Still get oil down your arm tho'... seems it's almost impossible to avoid that. When I installed it I used a generous amount of gasket sealant on both sides of the gasket that goes between the filter housing and the engine block and there have been no leaks.
