Thread: Superpro are the go.

G'day all, I have just replaced the front Chassis bushes on the Stage One, It did have Red Poly Bushes in it that I fitted a few years ago.
This time I went for Superpro (the Blue Ones) as I have read good reviews on them.
When I took the Red ones out (they come in Two halves for each side) one half looked like this;

Yay is ok, I got it to post at last!

As you can see oil has soaked into the bush and stuffed it! it looks like the chalk from the old Colgate adds. it is hard and crumbles! so now to the Superpro item;
I have read that these are hard to put in as they are one piece and the outer flanges are bigger than the body of the bush!, well this is true if you don't read the instructions and put the metal tube in first, if you leave the metal tube out for this step it could not go in easier
It was a no brainer, I made a puller out of a long bolt (see Photo) and just wound it in (useing a screw driver to lightly push the flange into the hole) it went in smooth and with no trouble as did the other side One as well .

So don't pay any mind to the sad sacks out there (they are doing it wrong) the ride is way better than ever before, when the time comes it's SuperPro for all the spring eyes as well.

That's not oil damage..

That's heat and lack of lubrication that's destroyed the old one.

The Superpro won't have that problem.
