    Banjo,
Check out the DOTAR website and your local licencing authority website for the latest info.

S3's fall under the 2nd Edition ADR's and any additional rules from your State.

The only ADR's relating to engines are emissions and noise, so your local authority is the place to ring first.

The rule of thumb from DOTAR is that the vehicle must comply with the ADR's on the VIN plate but it is OK to upgrade to a later standard,

I don't like the way the box mounting is welded to the chassis and neither would DOTAR.

Wagoo's method of fastening the mounting plate to the box and then clamping the plate to the chassis meets Bulletin 14 requirements, which the Italian job doesn't. Wagoo uses the Toyota box the same as Banjo, which I suspect are easier to come by than P38 ones.

Thanks for posting the link though!

Power steering in a 74 Series 3 SWB?

has anyone (and i'm sure they have) fitted power steering to their Landy, if so what type and how difficult was it.

I fitted a power steering ram from a ZC Fairlane to my 109 2A , was a pretty straightforward conversion, basically went inplace of the steering damper between the pitman arm and chassis.

They are hens teeth now but theres one on Ebay if your fast, Ive seen them go over a grand. HK-HG Brougham has the same setup.
