Doesn't matter how much I tighten the lock nut on the front of the wiper switch , the switch just spins in the dash when I turn it , so I've popped it out and can at least use it when I need it. I'm wondering whether there used to be something attached to the back of the dash that would stop the switch from spinning? But moving forward, has anyone swapped the rotary switch with a north south toggle switch and if so, which one did you use please? I have the separate push button operated washer , the rotary switch just operates the wipers , cheers, D.
