    Five bearing engk colour

    Does anyone know what the correct name for the five bearing engine block colour is?

    Don't know the code

    Head was black and block was red.

    Variously described in UK posts on the topic as terracotta, primer red, ochre red.............

    Looks a bit like the original colour of the Holden 149" engine.

    However, a bit like the blue of the 3 bearing block - ongoing lack of consensus on what the colour actually is.

    Ochre Red I think - plus someone (can't remember who) told me it was just a primer.
