Anything will work in a pinch for a while but at the moment the est replacemt ive beem able to get is fuel hose from lawnmower shops.
I need to replace one of these injector plastic hoses. Are they a special type of hose or can I use something more generic. It is a very firm plastic compared to normal fuel line used in a petrol engine.
The closest thing I have found at home is a irrigation dripper riser pipe.I is Repco likely to have something to suit?

**the reason I need to replace the hose is that I was removing the injectors to check the head bolts after a recent gasket change and the rear injector would not budge. I thought I was a smartie for working out its probably being held in there by the vacuum of the piston. I thought I would just give the key a quick turn to crank the engine ever so slightly BANG!!!! it shot the injector out like a bullet snapping the plastic hoselesson learnt

Thanks. I used the irrigation hose and it works pretty good, can hardly tell them apart. I suspect it will not last but its got me going for now.
If you can find a bosh fuel pump /injector work shop , they sell some fabric covered rubber hose just sized for the spill rail / return pipe.
