    Is the fuel new, I've had a car in the past that did the same and it was crappy fuel.

    Try squirting some oil down the plug holes, crank it over a few times and the recheck the compression if it comes up you have a ring problem. Obviously you need to have the throttle wide open when running compression test.

    I did add around 15l of new fuel to maybe 10l old fuel in the tank.

    Whats is the correct oil viscosity for this engine? 15W40 ok?

    Yes. Could use 10W30 in Victoria this time of the year unless the engine is very worn. Any oil you can buy today exceeds the original oil specifications for this engine!

    Anyone knows any mechanic in Werribee area that can have a look at my Series 3? I tried a couple of mechanics that I have used before and they said they can't do old cars. Thanks

    Cant do old carsThats because these cars were around before computers
    These cars are not rocket science and dont require flash tools or diagnostic equipment
    Id try a mobile mechanic Maybe a old school one

    Still doesnt want to start kyle. 😌 tried 'start ya bastard, put a bit of oil where the spark plugs.
