    Post Paint Colours.

    Hi all.

New hear and just started a recon of a 1976 series 3.
It's in OK condition but needs usually welding in the normal rust spots..

Can anyone confirm the paint colour and paint code ?

I have been told it maybe

    Light green
    Or olive green.
    Or faded pastel green

    Hope someone can help

Difficult to tell on a computer monitor and depends on the camera/lighting etc.

You may find it difficult to match old codes (if you can get them) better to colour match from a part that has been hidden from sunlight.

Might be Spanish Olive Spanish Olive paint code this was a colour from the Leyland years.
Mine is a bit of a 'patchwork' but I think it was assembled from several different vehicles Isuzu C240 powered Series 3

What year and where was it built ?

    Hi Colin

    It's a 1976 SWB LR S 88

From what I can see it's a Leyland badge that states Solihull, England also a second badge says- produced by Leyland Sydney1521342387709-1980910537.jpg

Hope this extra photo can help confirm Spanish Olive..

    Thanks again

If you unscrew the little plate in the pic the paint colour will be like new under it and give you a better view of the colour. It does look like spanish olive tho.
