Have you gotten hold of some discs and calipers and fitted the discs to the rear of a hub yet?

NA not yet can get the disc's & calipers no worries...Got to workout if i need to change the proportioning valve though. I have the duel circit brakes..Plus i want to get all the parts here before i start & i want to find out about puting disc's on the rear sals aswell...
The damn BOSS recons no money till i know i can make the brackets & that they fit :mad::mad::mad: . . . . . . .
Bloody woman . . . . . . . . . :eek::D;)
:p.
I should get the discs and compare them to my mates Defender rears to make sure they are definately the same. I've already confirmed the calipers are rear Defender / Discovery.
Tell her that you are putting the money into an investment... your safety! :twisted: It's also more likely that a S3 Land Rover will go up in value rather than a new car.
Does anyone know how hard it is to fit discs onto the rear sals....
I would like to do both ends at the same time if posable money wise....
If i'm lucky the metal mobs mite have the decency to ring me back tomorrow .....

I keep telling her that all the time since i spent so much doing the build & the power steering..
I was offered $8500 for it 6 months after i got it rego'd told the bloke to go jump i built this one to keep for myself.....
Rear end conversion is easy it has been done lots of times before (pm isuzurover)
As for the plates guys it will only take a week or so before you have them:cool: once we confirm thefit of course;)
If you go 4 wheel disc you will also have to install a propotion valve (or what eva its called)
Adam
Do you have a pic of the one you made ???
Hey i was thinkin when i asked about my rims fitting after i do the discs on..Cause my rims are 15'' x 8''..
Well the rims i have came off a series1 disco SO if the calipers are disco/defender ... TJ you said you had to check to see if the discs where of a deefa or a disco So the daft question is if they are from a disco wouldn't my rims be fine ? & if a deefa i think i have seen some with 15'' rims....:confused::confused::confused::confused:..
Also if i only fit the discs to the front do i have to change my prop valve..
I put one in mine when i put the duel circet brakes on was told i had to...
