Trouble is the rotors look as though they had 6 holes originally, meaning not Rover?
I'll measure and post the dimensions of the discs here.

Hi
Will take it apart Thursday night and post up the photo
The braking efficiency would be the same where-ever it is positioned. However there is a lot of other stuff in the general area of the front upper quadrant, like the track and tie rod ends and having the caliper in the same area makes working on the various items more difficult.
Another consideration with the leading position, is that mud and debris are potentially able to force their way in through the top of the caliper around the pistons and pads (not an issue on Porsche 911, because they are hardly likely to want to wade through mud holes). Having the caliper in the rear upper (trailing) position lessens the potential of mud and debris because the assembly is in the shadow of the axle and swivel housings and mud would tend to flow past the top opening of the caliper.
I just had a visit from Ausfree with his freelander & i noticed the brake calipers are right on the front on them not that it is important i just noticed thats all . . . . .
Hi
Here are the photos. the disk it self will fit on a landy wheel. there is one bolt missing but it can be put back in. the bracket its self that holds the caliper on is two pieces of metal welded together.
AWESOME . . Wonder what the disc is off . . Could you take a pic of it from the side & back . .
Thanks Jason
