Trouble is the rotors look as though they had 6 holes originally, meaning not Rover?

I'll measure and post the dimensions of the discs here.

Incidently my Porsche 911 calipers are in rougly the same area (front upper quadrant), I wonder what the advantages / disadvantages are?

I wouldn't of thought it would make to much diferance wether it was in front or behind or on the bottum as the torsional forces would be the same where eve it is positioned ?

The braking efficiency would be the same where-ever it is positioned. However there is a lot of other stuff in the general area of the front upper quadrant, like the track and tie rod ends and having the caliper in the same area makes working on the various items more difficult.

Another consideration with the leading position, is that mud and debris are potentially able to force their way in through the top of the caliper around the pistons and pads (not an issue on Porsche 911, because they are hardly likely to want to wade through mud holes). Having the caliper in the rear upper (trailing) position lessens the potential of mud and debris because the assembly is in the shadow of the axle and swivel housings and mud would tend to flow past the top opening of the caliper.

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

Porsche 911 or Freelander neither of them are real four wheel drives!

    Hi
Here are the photos. the disk it self will fit on a landy wheel. there is one bolt missing but it can be put back in. the bracket its self that holds the caliper on is two pieces of metal welded together.

Thanks a heap for you effort!
I like the disc fitting over the top of the hub rather than underneath like mine.
