    New 2016 Disco Graphite TDV6

Hi all, just bought a new 2016 disco graphite TDV6 and would like to hear some opinions on dual batts, brake controllers and any other recommendations please?
I think I will go for the traxide dual batt system but not sure whether to use the USI160 or the SC80. Any recommendations and why?

I am going to end up towing a caravan and would like to know what brake controllers are best suited. A friend of mine installed a redarc but said there were not many options on spots to mount the controller. Can you offer any recommendations on controllers and mounting positions?

LLAMS. I had this on my D3 and it's awesome! Will I void the warranty if I install it on my new D4? I know GOE make the rods and this may be an option but I head down the beach most days and an in cab switch is so much more convenient.

    Thanks in advance.

    Sorted

Llams is easily removed for a warranty issue / test for faults so no..

    Thanks Thomie.
Would there be any fault codes when it's removed and returned to normal?
Would you recommend installing the switch in a temporary method (Velcro or something similar) for easy removal?

    Thanks

Im getting my 2 year service done friday week.
I intend talking to the service manager about LLams. There are lots of them fitted in WA,will be asking about warranty,2 years into a 5 year warranty.

No codes when you remove it.

I wouldn't even worry, I had a suspension fault under warranty and had already installed Llams within 24 hours of getting the vehicle home.

LR replaced the faulty component (hitachi compressor) with no question.

Remember - it can only void warranty if proven to be cause of the fault [and then only on that component/system].
It can NOT void for example, the engine warranty.

Life's to short to do the "it's under warranty" I'll be miserable for 3/5 years thing...

Plenty of other modifications done on here that would have more potential to void warranty than a plug in/plug out device...

Just drill and fit the control and enjoy...

And keep a positive relationship with your dealer, that's all you need...

LLAMS is the best piece of kit you'll fit to your car.
I fitted mine weeks after picking up car.

Some people have stated that their service manager knows that Llams is fitted and have no problems with it.

G'day Andrew, did you have a chat to your service manager about LLAMS?
Just wondering how you got on and where do you go to get your car serviced?
I bought my from Barbagello so will be going back there for the next 3 years as I managed to get 3 years free servicing in the deal.
    Thanks

I let my service manager know that LLAMS was fitted, explaining that it was an inline module that tricked the values input to the Suspension module so I could have manual control. I told them that it would be disconnected each time the car was in their workshop and to call me first if they happen to find any suspension module faults. You will get a fault code or several actually if you disconnect the module to fit the bypass plug and don't disconnect the battery first or remove the suspension module fuse. I don't bother disconnecting anymore as I simply clear them with a IIDTool. As Tombie said; keep a positive relationship with your dealer.
    Cheers, Mungus.

I left it be when he said I had a failed Lower Control Arm bush.Didnt want them thinking I had removed a LLAMS before the service.Waiting for a booking to do the LCA bush so I intend discussing it then.I deal with Southerns, they are very good so I dont expect an issue.
