    Suspension fault

Ok here's the scoop it started out by losing air while parked and ocasinaly bringing on orange warning light. So I pulled the fuse and it stayed up for several weeks no issues so I've popped it back in and now it brings the warning light on with in a k or so driving then dumps the air out of the front bags no codes are coming up on my snap on scan tool previous owner has fitted an amk any ideas ?

Would suggest front valve block issue to me, based on staying up with no leaks when system is off. Or maybe it’s a front height sensor issue, which is being ignored when the system is off.

It's rather limited to be honest but it does read hight sensors faults and I can calibrate it after a sensor change but that's about all it would seem

I was thinking similar but I have no hight sensor faults. I stripped the front valve block down as it's easy to get to and found no dust dirt or crook orings a spray with soapy water says it's not leaking externally also stripped and checked valve body between the tank and compressor and have a better idea how the system works it's not my issue either.

I take it the only way it can let air out is to open the relevant courner valve and send it back out via the compressor exhaust valve?

What year model is your vehicle? MY12 onwards rear shocks have taller bump-stops than earlier models such that when all air is dumped makes it appear that only the front is on the bump-stops. The earlier genuine shocks supersede to the later shocks so an earlier vehicle fitted with new genuine shocks will also have the taller bump-stops.

The warning light appearing after a short drive suggests that the compressor is taking too long to get the reservoir up to pressure. Dropping to the bump-stops will occur when the system can't achieve its target height (usually normal height when driving) within the allowable time.

I get that yellow warning too sometimes. Compressor not pumping fast enough to fill the tank up and it’s limited to normal suspension height only. Restart the car and warning goes away. Only thing I could think of is either the valve block is activating when it’s not running or slow leak or the calibration of the sensors is done wrong causing it to self level to bump stops. Try recalibrating all 4 again service all your valve blocks with new orings. Should eliminate the issues since it holds air when the fuses are removed.

It’s more likely that your desiccant tank is blocked with powdered beads.

It's an 05 when the rear bags are on the stops the tyres rub it's no where near that point

    Sounds similar

Similar to symptoms that I have, with my 2005 Discovery 3

Code I get with the IID tool is "Ride level control module C1A13-64 Pressure does not decrease when venting gallery"

This seems to indicate that the desiccant canister is blocked, desiccant has done it job and turned to dust and blocks filters and possibly value blocks

    Here is my thread
