Ride level control module C1A13-64 Pressure does not decrease when venting gallery
Hello Fellow Discovery owners,
Got some Christmas - New Year down time as I am in Sydney - not going anywhere
2005 Discovery 3 TDV6 SE - I have owned since new
(New motor 10 years ago - spun crank bearings, been self servicing since, except for things like auto service etc)
"Ride level control module C1A13-64 Pressure does not decrease when venting gallery"
Been getting this error on an off for last couple of months - clears with IID Tool
Now my the Discovery 3 is going into extended mode if I try to lower to access mode, but only the rear suspension raises to extended height.
Done some internet research and can see that this is probably one or two things -
1. electrical connections - the ones behind left hand front guard
2. desiccant canister is blocked
I am leaning towards number 2, but would like the opinion of the collective wisdom on this forum.
Options for fix seem to be;
1. buy a compressor rebuild kit
2. replace with new compressor
Kits seem pretty good, - but compressor is 15 years old and should I just bite the bullet and replace ?
If replace do I stay with Hitachi or go with the AMK and Flash ECU ? (I have IID tool)
Before I spend $$ I am planning calibrate suspension with the IID tool - but I am thinking that just delays the inevitable.
Wishing you all a happy and prosperous New Year.
Richard
