TJM do an Alloy bar and ARB do a steel one.
Here is the flyer from ARB.

I am getting an ARB steel delux winch bar fitted for a diesel next week.
You should be able to find ARB's on their website,
Deluxe Bull Bars | ARB 4x4 Accessories » Products » ARB Protection Equipment » Bull Bar Model Range » Deluxe Bull Bars

I have a TJM alloy bar. Its actually their prototype No 2 as they used my car for the test bed. I gather the final product is the same or close to.

I understand there is an issue with the ARB one and the D3 V8, you don't say whether you are wanting to fit to a V6 or V8..... I have the V6 petrol and had an ARB bar fitted in December last year with no issues at all.......

    Bullbar petrol Disco3

Thanks all for the replies to my questions about the bullbar. I contacted both ARB and TJM and they still say their is no bar for a V6 petrol. I don,t understand what is going on but my local four Wheel Drive centre suggested a East Coast bullbar. Don,t know much about them.

That really is strange..... when I rang ARB, I just said I wanted a bullbar for a D3..... the motor never featured in any discussions....... I know (and this is due to reading a thread here subsequently) that there is possibly an issue with the V8.......

It is a bit worrying that I might now have a bull bar that shouldn't be on my vehcile......

Which ARB branch are you talking to?

Nothing to worry about, the chassis dynamics are the same, so if it fit, its fine (simplified but correct in this case)

Fair enough, and thanks for that. I just worry whether there are any issues similar to the V8, ie modifying brackets etc etc....... but I like to think the blokes at ARB in Artarmon are professional enough not to have done a bodge job........
