    Well done Harry.

Rules you don't find in the Learners Manual.

    1. Concentrate - you are in charge of a 1 tonne + of steel and plastic.
    2. I know it is hard but......Let the phone ring!. She will call back (It doesn't hurt to keep them waiting for a change.) Pull over if it is urgent.
    3. There are idiots everywhere - sometimes in the back seat of your car. Not much you can do about it, but learn to live with it.
    4. 10 - 20 kmh faster than the speed limit makes bugger all difference to your total time. Speeding will eventually cost you money .....or much worse.
    5. Be patient in traffic. We all share the road.
    6. Take charge of the Radio/iPod/I.C.E. - set the volume and music so that it doesn't distract you.
    7. Take responsibility for your passengers. If they don't wear their seat belts or want to hang out the window - don't be afraid to "lay down the law" - You are in charge. You may be accountable for their actions.
    8. If you miss your turnoff, don't panic, take the next one and double back. Reversing down busy roads, or chopping across 3 lanes can be bloody dangerous.
    9. Enjoy yourself!

Is it legal to drive out of the state that the Learners Permit was issued in? I was under the impression that it wasn't.

    Cheers, Mick.
