Anyone know where you could get one for an lT95??
not sure but you could get one fabbed fairly easialy...all be it welded not cast...
just to confirm, mine was $160 + postage. I ordered it on thursday lunch time and recieved it (Aus post) the next day lunch time :). British Off Road where very helpfull, rang me back with price etc.
It comes as sump and gasket, no bolts and the sump plug/drain is blank...needs to be drilled and tapped...no big deal though

Thanks
well i havent looked to hard yet, but the new sump would be the lowest point....there is a cast section at the bottom of the new sump that clearly looks like it is the new spot for a drain plug, its even counter bored...just needs to be drilled to correct size and tapped...

I have dug up my old Gearbox thread, as per the members ride thread, the LT85 has finally spat the dummy:(.
I may drop a few relative links here and anyone else please fell free to do the same.
Of all things, the input shaft has literally sheared off behind where splines are broached in.
Getting the box out is a lot easier for me these days as have a hoist and just purchased a very substantial transmission lifter thank goodness. I cant do this from the ground under vehicles any more. Too lazy.
I have decided to yet again persist with the notoriously troublesome LT85.
Still have to strip it all down and inspect for any additional parts needed.
This particular box has had some machining done and heavier multirace bearings fitted in the past. Far as I can tell, it has all stayed together in this part. Other than third gear, has always had a vibration whilst under load. Hop we can find the cause.... Has to be a reason for it? Makes me wonder if the input shaft was bent during a past transmission removal? Could be why it snapped?

I just read this whole thread and it was very educational. Please be sure to keep posting what you find and what you do about it.
I daresay it's not such a huge drama if you have a hoist and transmission lifter these days!
