Yeah i found that if you get some thread tape (its the stuff plumbers use), just wrap about 3 or 4 wraps tightly around the diff plug then re fit the diff plug...taaadaa no weeping!!

It is time for me to change the diff oil again.
Any tips as to how I can do that and prevent the plugs from leaking?
Is there a gasket paste I can use?
I've been very careful cleaning the threads before refitting and have even got new plugs, but after a while they start to weep.![]()

get the maxidrive brass diff plugs from MR Automotive to replcae the standard ones.
Instead of just plugging the hole they also have a face that mates against the diff and forms a better seal.
