    Radius/trailing arms bushes

G`day all.Have been under my ute wrestling with shocker mounts.Any way I was looking at the trailing arms and I`m not real happy with the rod ends being used.So what does the Defender use as a mount at the chassis end of the trailing arms?Pic`s will be helpful. Would be nice to have some thing that is designed for 4wd`s not race cars.

    what vehicle do you have?

are you looking at the front Radius arms chassis end or the rear trailing arm chassis end?

Hi Serg. It`s a custom ute.Series 3 ute on a range rover chassis with modified suspension.Hence having non standard radius arms front and trailing arms rear. Front is a three link set up,so has three rose joints/rod ends/heme ends what ever people call them.Back is a 4 link set up,so has four of those ends. The ends that attach to the axles have standard range rover bushes.

alot of people feel the chassis bushes arent great ......but based on what? they do flex quite well and will definitly out flex the axle end on stock set ups and even with Haultech sloted bushes..... I believe some of the guys modding comp trucks (not rovers) go for the nissan bushes at chassis end. Not sure if they are the RA or TA bush off a nissan but they seem to be popular on 3 and 4 link set ups....

forgot to add, the nissan bushes that they are using look like the chassis end bush on a rover radius arm......if that helps. Ps dont rule out poly bushes...they are much better now not being so hard as they use to be....Rick130 did some basic comparisons and had the front flexing the same as holy bushes .....
